badly formed token

why do I get the badly formed token for this line of code?:

Because you need to escape backslashes in DOORS strings:
 

const string path = "\\\\dfs-wch-02.mw.nos.boeing.com\\WCH-MIL\\Bombers\\CONECT\\Analysis & Integration Team\\Specialty Engineering\\System Safety_Nuc Cert\\System Safety\\Hazard Worksheets\\"
